*Breaking strength when new.
Safe Operating Practices: Inspect before each use. Do not exceed rated capacity. Avoid dragging strap on ground. Do not attach to bumpers. Do not tie knots in sling. Avoid temperatures in excess of 200°. Always protect straps from being cut by corners and edges. Stand clear of strap and vehicles when under load.
WARNING: Do not exceed rated capacities. Sling capacity decreases as the angle from horizontal decreases. Slings should never be used at angles less than 30 degrees. *The breaking strengths shown are based on new recovery straps under ideal test conditions using WSTDA recommended pin diameters at each end of the recovery strap. Smaller pin diameters, corners or edges exposed to the recovery strap, and shock loading (jerking of the recovery strap under load) can greatly reduce the breaking strength ratings. Check with the manufacturer for your specific application.
